How Does VEN CS work?
Imagine a shopping mall or shopping centre (think Bluewater or Westfield). Within our network, you can either rent a shop or you can rent a shelf within a shop.
The crucial difference between a real shopping centre and our virtual enterprise network is that in renting a shelf within a shop you are immediately empowered to cross-sell your products on that shelf with any other shops or products on our network.
Our network works by very naturally linking products together from different shops and suppliers. By creating natural links and combining complimentary products, we can very effectively cross-sell right across our network. This in turn raises the profiles of our different shops and brands.
Who Belongs to VEN CS?
We have a number of independent retailers with real shops as well as a number of suppliers who don’t have retail space, but who sell both online and into other retailers.
VEN CS deals with a wide variety of different businesses at different stages of development. We work with businesses ranging from under 1 year old to having traded for over 15 years.
Where Does Our Business Fit In?
We are a start-up business…
For start-ups (including retailers who don’t yet trade online), our network allows your business to hit the ground running. You can immediately begin selling to an active customer base and you’ll have access to a wealth of marketing support.
We already sell online…
If you already sell online via your website, then you’ll be able to proactively promote your products by upselling with our other retailers as well as via shared mailing lists and in-store concessions.
Am I a Retailer or Supplier?
If you have a retail outlet made from bricks and mortar, we class you as a retailer. If you don’t trade from a physical location, then you are a supplier. For more information on the two types of members, please read our FAQ sections for Retailers and Suppliers.
What Do I Need To Join?
To be linked in to our network, all your business requires is to have a product of some description. This can be either a tangible product such as a candle or a bottle of wine, or it can be a service sold as a product (for example, a hotel booking or even a donation if you are a charity).
In short, you need something that a customer will pay some money for.

Who Supports and Runs the Network?
